It is 1730 hours. The suitcase is packed. Stuffed would be a better description. My traveling companions will have to accept the fact that Granny doesn't pack jammies. And, that Granny doesn't always wear clean clothes.
Got Carlton's freezer stuffed with sandwiches and ice cream. Pasta salad and chicken for four meals in the fridge. A potato to nuke. And a couple of ghastly "MRE-Type" rice things. He can go to the grocery for bananas and get a cooked chicken and some salad. That will be it. And people will feed him. Like they feed stray cats.
We are going to Yellowstone and then to a dude ranch. We don't even have telephone service in our rooms and no mention wireless or other internet capabilities. So, I fear I'll be off line for two weeks.
Will I survive, with at 13 year old, another grandmother, in one room... for 2 weeks ... with no internet? Not to mention horses. What was I thinking when I scheduled this trip? God, I hope they have beer. Lots of beer.
Leaving at 0-dark hundred tomorrow for Bozeman Montana. Returning late June 23.
