the jeans - august 2006

Today, Carlton deny's ever mentioning that I was a little fat. Approaching the "Bless her heart" stage. The southern gentleman can get away with the most awful kind of insult as long as it's prefaced with the words "Bless her heart". As in, "Bless her heart, she can't help being fat."

But, the man was correct. I have 2 pair of jeans. A nice comfy relaxed fit pair of blue ones and a more formal black pair of tight ones. At this time of year - both are hanging in the closet - freshly washed. Well, the blue ones are now the tight ones and the tight ones must have been abducted by aliens and replaced with a pair of size 0 ones - because they can no longer be zipped. Heck, they don't even fit over my generous butt. Bless my heart.

But, I am not the only one - Katie Couric went on the PhotoShop diet for her new CBS publicity photos. That's about 15 pounds.
