What if Brazil had invaded the US to make it safe for democracy after Bush stole the election in 2000? Nope, Brazil is in this hemisphere. What if, Norway had invaded? Nope Norway is run by a bunch of white folk. What if China had invaded - to be sure they had a "stable" area in which to sell LCD TV's, cheap underdrawers and knockoff Prada bags.
