Just finished up enjoying 3 days of serious beaching ...
Carlton doesn't like to pack up a lunch and eat at the beach - the man doesn't like picnics - so we went to a beach in the morning. Came home for lunch. And then spent most of the afternoons across the street on the pier and in the bay. An excellent compromise. Good thing our hotel is across the street from a great swimming area!
