The Ladies.

And ME - honorary lady

On Sunday, Carlton and I were made honorary ladies. It was a much harder transformation for me than it was for Carlton. For openers, I had to come up with a long white dress. Heck, I didn't wear a dress when I got married. Much less a long white one. Never mind suitable shoes. I have Teva's and black rubber flipflops. But, the goddess was looking out for me. A suitable long white dress - that fit showed up in "my" thrift shop for 4 bucks. As for shoes. Well, lucky this is Hawai'i - Tevas or flipflops were non-starters. But, this is Hawai'i - so - I went barefoot.

Then there was tea. Being a southern officer and gentleman - a man who came from a family that possessed tomato forks - tea was not a problem. And, Carlton LOVES being in with a gaggle of ladies.

I kept up the lady act for about 90 minutes.
