Carlton ca 1957
Today was a nothing special in the walking way. Did about a mile - but, I don't count that towards my total.
Main event today was finding a suitable old college picture of Carlton. Suitable for an invitation to a cook out. That man had a college experience that was totally different from mine. It is like we went to college on 2 different planets. The planet of the the upward striving middle class and the planet of the tex-mex no class trailer trash. The food was better on my planet.
Carlton was so "perfect" - The Lady Emily - who became Mrs Combs was so pretty. I think that college might have been as good as it ever got for them. Sad. Really. Sad.
