Went to the Franciscan Monastery last week. I was feeling generally bored and depressed. Wondered what would I would be doing if I were on holiday in Europe. I decided that a trip by subway to an unfamiliar part of DC and a tour of a rather obscure church and a garden - well - that would be a fine faux trip. And it was.
Another cheap google trick. Currency conversion. Just enter 120 euros in dollars - Google will answer 160 or so... Actually Google will convert almost anything. Gallon to liters. Centigrade to Fahrenheit. etc. etc.
Google wants to be our friend.
