Back from the beach. A good time was had by all. I took the train to the beach. It worked like a champ. And, a surprising number of people were on the train. I wasn't fast. But, it was easy. Nothing hard about reading a book and drinking coffee on the way down and listening to an audio book and drinking a beer on the way back.
Carlton has shingles. Actually he first got spotted on July 4th. He got drugs on July 5th. His spots are leaving but, he still seems to have a serious amount of pain. I am afraid that he might be one of the 15% who have pain long after the spots fade. But, he is still playing tennis, riding his bike, etc.
Nothing like a week at the beach with 6 other people to get out of a funk.
Duly noted. Apple stock is up over 15 bucks since I bailed. But, my plan was to sell before the iPhone launch. I executed the plan. It was just the wrong plan.
Today, I sold 1/2 of my Google position. Look for Google to continue being the raging bull. But, my plan was to sell 1/2 my position before they announce earnings on Thursday. Time will tell if it was the right plan.
Today was a glorious summer day. Sunny, hot, no humidity. Love it. I was wondering - what did we do before we lived in a place with a pool. Before we could spend the afternoons lounging, tanning and swimming. Then I remembered - we did yard work. And "home projects".
