Window washers next door - yesterday
Yesterday afternoon, I was just settling in for a nice relax on the porch - when window washers appeared next door. In addition to swinging back and forth - they sang, talked on their cells, and engaged in jolly gossiping and laughing. Window washers are sort of like UPS drivers - revered citizens of the urban landscape. As compared to, say, the cable guy or the tow truck operator.
FIOS has almost arrived in our building. I think the wiring is done. Comcast owned all the wiring in the building - so Verizon had to retrofit their own fibre cables into the building. It took lots of guys lots of days.
