Just thought you would like to know that the wall-to-wall news here in DC this evening is not the heart problems of the Vice President... But, the news of the shooting of one of our local football players. It is nice to know that we have our priorities in line. The local news devoted 55 minutes to Shaun Taylor and about 55 seconds to the VP.
I got us reservations at The Jet Motel in Seattle. I think it is the sort of place that you should have reservations about not at. If we get to Seattle early enough and if we are perky enough - we can catch a city bus outside the motel and go downtown. Drink coffee. Eat seafood. Then bus back to The Jet Motel and sleep a couple of hours before heading off to the airport again for an O-Dark-Hundred Hours flight to San Francisco and on to Kona.
