skagway - summer 2000
Reached into the digital shoe box and a couple of thousand images from two wonderful summers in Skagway, Alaska came tumbling out. I had a Kodak DC290 - it was state of the art at the time and was one of 3 digital cameras in Skagway. It was a fine camera with lovely lens flare.
Politics: Will some politician please tell me that they are going to raise my taxes? Will some politician admit that the supply side emperor has no clothes? Will the young folk realize that us old farts have mortgaged their future?
Please, will everyone under the age of 25 get their butts to the polls and kick the boomer and greatest generations out to pasture. We have had our chance and we screwed it up pretty good.
But, the oldest boomers and those of us who are a little too old to be boomers - we could help redeem ourselves. We could take to the streets as we did in the 60's. Revisit the 60s in your 60s.
