I wasn't really celebrating Obama's nomination. This is an out take from my passport foto work - but it is a great day to be a democrat.
Back in the civil rights era and later in the feminist era - I never thought I would see a black or a woman make it to the nomination. Who could have imagined?
Now, boys and girls - we have to make it happen.
Walking off to volunteer work this morning in the rain this morning. Well, I went looking for my umbrella. I have one umbrella. A scruffy gray one. When you only have one house, you go to the closet - if the umbrella is in the closet - you have an umbrella - if it isn't in the closet - well, you lost the umbrella. But, if you have seven houses - like McCain - how many umbrellas do you have. Maybe one for each house. Do they all end up in one place? Do you end up with seven umbrellas in Phoenix? It must be hard to have seven houses.
