election day 2008
0814 - it is with great Democratic trepidation that I view this election day. What if this is 2000 all over again? My polling place is in the old folks home next door. I am naively expecting no problems there. They should have lots of chairs and extra parking for walkers.
0845 - Cleaning out the dishwasher. Watching Obama voting. I find myself crying. A black man/Hawaiian boy might be President Elect by days end. It hasn't been like this ever.
0943 - voted. not a problem. Turned Luddite and used one of the paper ballots. Pictures being better than words:

Now, I think I should do something nonpolitical. Maybe try to install Ubuntu on one of my elderly computers.
1905 - Polls closing in VA. Hope we don't become the Florida of 2008. Hope ther is no Florida in 2008.
2145 - Looks good for Obama. Looks good for America.
