From Kona - years ago
Back to the seemingly endless task of sorting thru old digital photos. But, I'll not complain. But be glad that I didn't loose my images in the great HP Vista Whore machine meltdown.
Got 3 pair of hand-me-down size 6 jeans from Pam. I decided that they need to be shortened. Miss Kim at our dry cleaners wanted $20 a pair. At 10 bucks a leg - I decided that I can do this myself. Carlton noted that I have no sewing machine. (Gave it up in the downsizing). I think the first really functional sewing machine happened around 1830. Folk were wearing clothes long before 1830. One leg done. 5 to go. Actually, I did two legs this afternoon. My first leg required a do over. Made it too short. Question, how our foremothers sew without iPods?
It is still cold. I could use a little global warming.
Still dividing my computer time between Ubuntu and XP. Anything that can be done gracefully in Ubuntu is done in Ubuntu. Things that are problematic - I have no problem firing up the XP side.
