CRIME
REPORT
A man got his truck stuck on the Dyea Flats and needed
a tow before the tide came in. At the late hour of the call,
no one was willing to tow him out, the tide came in and
the vehicle was removed the following day.
A gas station owner reported someone fueled up and left
without paying. It turned out to be a computer error, not
a theft of services.
An officer located a missing tourist who had wandered off
while his wife was shopping. He was found waiting for a
shuttle bus back to the ships.
Skagway is the Crime Capital of South Eastern Alaska! In
Ole DC we read Dave Barry's column on Sunday for a chuckle.
Here we read the police report.
