And so what happened to yesterday and why am I doing yesterday
morning today. Well, carrots. Carrots is what happened.
Also celery, cantaloup, canned pineapple, hams and cheeses.
Seems that Klondike Goldrush National Historical Park is
having a 25th birthday... and when one has no caterers in
town - one spends ones day off slicing, dicing, mincing
etc.
All the while, slicing and dicing, we were awaiting the
arrival of decorated cakes from Juneau via tiny little plane.
Well, they almost made it. On the 3 block ride from the
air field to the park - one of the cakes got very dented.
That cake - all decorated with the Parks Canada Beaver -
now a roadkill beaver - requires plastic surgery.
