Most of our neighborhood power is underground. But, 2 blocks from here several hugh transformers live behind 12 foot wooden fences. But, every now and then, the workmen are inside and they leave the gates open. These things remind me of the 1931 Frankenstein movie.
Note to Rick Santorum – Senator McCain is my go to guy about torture.
The Onion has tongue in cheek “person on the street” comments about news events – this is the question this week:
“In a radio interview Tuesday, presidential hopeful Rick Santorum said he thinks torture critic Sen. John McCain “doesn’t understand how enhanced interrogation works.” What do you think?”
“Well, if there’s anyone who knows about torture, it’s Rick Santorum, who was savagely beaten by 18 percentage points while trying to hold on to his Senate seat in 2006.”
That made me chuckle .
