Another good thing about being home - the print addition
of the Washington Post. Web news is good. But, printed is still
better.
I have always believed that Martha Stewart is a menace
to women everywhere. Am looking forward to seeing her take the 5th
and do the "perp" walk.
The house that was under construction in the backyard
is finished. On Friday, all the trees came down on the lot in back
of new house. So the new house will have a house in back of it.
This was in the works before we left. But, I had hoped that the
sagging stock market would stop the "Mac Mansion" attack.
But no - at the top of the hill - 6 new "Mac Mansions"
are planned.
Most of the neighbors are fairly philosophical about
the changes - Supersized cookie cutter houses and the largest mosque
on the east coast. What a neighborhood.
