first at the Pentagon

ORANGE ALERT.
Vice President still in hiding.
The sound of jet fighters fill the air.
Rocket launchers ring the city.
I am reminded that we live in a small area called Fort Buffalo.
Named by Union Troops from Buffalo NY during the Civil War. This
was the site of one of the seven or so forts that circled DC.
 Walked
by the fire house this morning about 8:45. They were one of the
first units at the Pentagon - since we are a rather straight shot
down the road to the Pentagon. Some units more equipped for that
sort of incident had more difficulties getting there.
