Another cold rainy day.
About that new computer. For the last couple of years
I have wanted a itsy bitsy computer. The sleek titanium kind that
you imagine that the dudes in first class have.
So there are two models under consideration. Both
by Fujitsu. (I know, I have been completely faithful to Toshiba
for years - but they don't sell their tiniest models in the US).
Fujitsu has a really small (2.2 pounds) thing with a touch screen.
But no optical drives. This goes for about $1200. For another $300
you get a DVD/CDRW and a slightly larger machine. (3.6 pounds).
This baby has all the latest ports, firewire and USB 2. But lesser
battery life.
No, I don't need one. The Toshiba I got last spring
is great. My whole life is in it!
REMEMBER: Get out and look for the Leonids Monday
Night. The show might not be as good as last years - but it will
not be this good again until 2099! Check
the best time in your viewing area.
