This old Austin is a new addition to the street scene. Which brings
us to cars. Over a year ago Carlton sold his car and has been "sharing"
mine. He gets the car on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday -
and I get it the other three days. And, he is in charge of washings,
inspections, and gas.
My car is 10 years old. Carlton has never had a 10 year old car
- so he is sort of hoping that I'll get a new car soon. I would
normally just get another Miata. But, I think I have to check out
the Austin (bmw) Mini Cooper.
Carlton asked me to reserve a library book for him online yesterday.
The bad news is he is number 1008 on the wait list. The good news
is the library has 319 copies of the book. It is good to live in
a rich county. I'll try to remember that when it comes time to pay
the property tax!
