Ring Search - 09.nov.03

No entries yesterday. The electricity went out at about 3 and didn't get back on for a good long time. By the time it was back, had lost interest in webpages.

Yesterday's major adventure was "The Ring Search". On Saturday, Carlton lost his ring "somewhere" in the yard. Or in the leaves piled up in the street. On Sunday afternoon - Carlton's racket stringer arrived with a collection of metal detectors.

And, in no time at all - the ring is found.

Carlton was really happy. And gave the guy his UDC Stone Mountain Half Dollar. Now, it has a good home. The guy's grandmother was a UDC and like most metal detector dudes in this area he is Civil War weenie - so all is well.
