Today I am a grown up. I said - I don't care if they are box seats at $77 a pop. I don't like Mahler. I especially don't like Mahler's 9th symphony. (Just in case I had forgotten - I got a CD from the library. Yep, I remember. Too long and too angst filled.) So, tonight instead of enduring 80 minutes of Mahler at Kennedy Center - I'll be at home. Maybe watching a movie or reading a trashy novel.

Today I am a grown up and don't have to pretend to like Mahler. Or even tolerate Mahler. Any more than I would tolerate 50 cent.
