the oceanview - years and years ago.

This would be the old Oceanview Restaurant on Ali'i Drive in Kailua-Kona. It isn't there anymore. Oh no problem with the earthquake. It was a victim of "progress".

Seems that the earthquake destroyed one of the two harbors on the Island of Hawai'i. Fortunately, it wasn't the harbor that has the fuel dock. But, at least 50% of the stuff came thru the destroyed harbor. Maybe we'll have to take our own toilet paper!

Back to iTunes. At some time in the past I had backed most of my playlists. And, I had current versions of the playlists on the iPod. So, I spent the rainy afternoon rebuilding playlists and I backed them up! All the while listening to Israel Kamakawio'ole. That boy died way to soon. (Note to self - don't sing harmony to Bruddha Iz while riding the subway.)
