RECYCLING - URBAN-STYLE
A couple of Saturday's ago a big old oak tree was left on our street in the hope that someone would come and haul it off. (As opposed to paying $500 to have it hauled off!) Well, come they did. One guy came every day after work in this tiny little Japanese car. He split logs until dark. Workmen came with pickup trucks over lunch hour to split and haul logs. Yuppies with sparkling SUV's mostly looked - because the logs were really huge. But, in less than 2 weeks - the tree was all gone.

On Wednesday we put out the old "Works Most of the Time" (if you are none too fussy) TV for "recycling". It was gone in less than 2 hours.

We are enjoying the new Toshiba TV. And that is how city folks recycle!
