Today is "Random Old Photo Day". This one
was from Hawai'i - Feb 19, 1999. A Japanese travel agency had a
permit to photograph at the edge of Halema'uma'u Crater. As usual,
cold, gray and damp.
I got another SirCam virus in the email today. I didn't
inspect it very carefully - the virus is a oldie that refuses to
go away. I thought it was supposed to "destroy" the machines
that it had infested in mid-October. Well, at least one copy survived
long enough to send me an infected document. Fortunately, I recognized
it and dispatched it. Now, why couldn't my expensive ISP detect
it???
Remember when an Afghan was a very foo-foo dog or
fuzzy blanket you got from your Grandmother? In all the news from
Afghanistan, have you seen any dogs? Think they all ended up as
fido-kebobs?
