SNOW, well not exactly. Snow was scheduled. But, we have only had
rain. Lots of cold rain. If it had been snow, we would be up to
our tooshies in white stuff.
Now, if the weather goddess can contain herself for another week.
I'll be happy to see snow next week on top of Mauna Kea.
Which reminds me of a cool web site. The Telescope Web Cams...
on Mauna Kea -  Check
it out. There are a couple of webcams on the mountain. Here
is another one. Most of the workers at the telescopes have office
space in Waimea or Hilo - and if they have business at the telescopes
- they are powerfully curious about what weather they will find.
So, everyone has a webcam.
