Walked out on Ali'i Drive this morning for no particular
reason. A pair of funky old cars zipped by. Later went to Pu'uhonua
O Honaunau National Historical Park. Carlton played tennis. I got
a new library card. No complaints at all.
The local economy is feeling the effects of Sept 11.
There are noticeably fewer visitors. In prior years Kona was visited
by two cruise ships per week. Now it is lucky to get one ...
