Now what adventures did today bring? Started off the
day by defrosting the mini-fridge. A woman's work is never done
- even in Hawai`i.
Chinese New Year coming soon. There is usually a sort
of street fair just outside our hotel. Looks like it will be gearing
up tomorrow. Don't think that the lack of tourists will affect the
New Year's Fair - because it is a "local kine thing".
A chance garage bands to play - lots of places to buy "ono
grinds" (good but unhealthy foods). Every civic club on this
side of the island will show up selling their favorite fried food.
Oh yes, the lion will dance.
