Carlton - Waikoloa Hilton - 07 Mar 2002
We made it back to exciting downtown Falls Church.
The trip was long and dull. Carlton didn't fare too well. The landing
into Chicago and the departure from same was a little bumpy and
Mr. C had a touch of "air sickness".
The leg from Kona was very festive. They started out
by announcing that "Captain McEntire is making his final flight
today". Well, can we talk before you close the cabin door!
Seems that the good Captain was retiring after 35 years. Fortunately
for us, his retirement pay must have been greater than his life
insurance. We arrived in San Francisco 30 minutes early.
Left hotel in Kailua-Kona noonish yesterday. Arrived
regan NATIONAL airport 9:00 AM, retrieve luggage and subwayed home.
Drank coffee. Took naps.
