Cold. It is just plain cold. A friend email a picture
of Belize. All afternoon, I was having a Big Belize Attack. Carlton
kept asking "grownup type" questions - like can you drink
the water. Who cares - I bet you can drink the beer.
Today's image is a palani - ring tail or blue tail
surgeonfish. They are quite large and appear in big herds. Palani
are sort of like "reef buffalos" and definitely bully
other fishes around Kahalu`u Bay. Also, if you get caught up in
a frenzy of palani - when someone is feeding them - you definitely
wonder about just how sharp are the little blades at top of their
tails are.
