The rug doctor came by this morning. He makes house
calls. Because he doesn't want insect infested rugs showing up in
his shop. $1000. That kills the bugs and stabilizes the carpet.
I'll defiantly have it done. A perfectly fine new
Heriz would cost about $5000. Plus or minus. But, I decided that
I would really have a hard time buying a rug made in Iran. And,
I would not be much happier about buying a repro Heriz made in Pakistan.
It would seem like buying a Mercedes Benz in 1939. You just know
it not the right thing to do.
The rug will go to the rug hospital next Wednesday.
And stay there until we get back.
And replacement sandals arrived today. Things are
getting back on track.
