The Old Burying Ground - Newburyport Mass.
Nice and hot up here in cool New England today. Rode
around with the top up and the A/C on. Had an excellent field trip.
Newburyport is a whole lot like Oldtowne Alexandria, VA without
the really nearby urban area. Mostly trendy little shops etc. As
you all know, Carlton does not shop. Nor does he suffer shoppers.
But, I did sneak into a bakery and got an excellent loaf of bread.
Which was enjoyed with apples and cheese up along the New Hampshire
coast.
We wandered all around Newburyport ... then drove
up the entire coast line of New Hampshire. Most of it is devoted
to your typical eastern beach towns. But, there were occasional
stretches where you could actually see the Atlantic. And every now
and then we would spy a wetland area - replete with swans and water
lilies.
On to technical matters. I got my copy of Macromedia
Studio MX yesterday. I really liked Flash MX (which I bought several
months ago) but I am under whelmed by Dreamweaver MX. Haven't tried
Fireworks MX yet. It also shipped with Cold Fusion - which I don't
even install and Freehand which will most likely never be used.
