Nothing much going on here. Still working away on
the addition to the National Park of American Samoa's web site.
It is still way too hot and too dry here. The trees
are losing their leaves. "They" say that that is what
the trees are supposed to do in a drought. I just hope there are
some leaves for us to see in New England in the fall.
And, I got one of those notices from the County -
the kind that you get before they send you your jury summons. Why
is it that we Americans love to sue each other but hate to be on
a jury? The Wall Street Journal had a story the other day about
some counties - they have such a hard time getting jurors that the
go and Shanghai them from the local Wal Mart. They figure if you
have time to go to Wal Mart there ain't no reason you can not go
serve on a jury at that very instant!
