Like most of my stuff, I got Carlton second (or third
or more) hand. But, like like the battered old Zero suitcase - he
was worth bringing home and cleaning up.
It was suggested that Carlton hadn't appeared on these
pages in a while. Yes, he is alive and well. And playing tennis.
And eating ice cream. His message was "It's hard to soar with
the eagles when you are surrounded by turkeys." Notice that
he is the one holding the turkey feathers.
