Tom is one of the old Kona Seasiders. He spent so much time here
- he bought a condo and moved over full time.
Surf was up today ... A *HUGE* white yacht hovered offshore most
of the day. I hoped it would come tie up - but no such luck. And
why would that lovely boat come up to our scruffy pier? It was rumored
to belong to Paul Allen. Paul Allen is also rumored to own a big
chunk of land next to the pier.
The hotel is still full of young people from the left coast. But
soon they'll be gone and the package tour folks from the midwest
will return in bus size bunches.
