Ali'i Drive - 05.feb.03
Nothing much going on here in exciting downtown Kailua-Kona, which
is fine by me. I am trying to undo the ravages of 3 weeks of eating
in El Paso - by taking long walks down Ali'i Drive. Today I made
it to the 1.5 mile marker giving me a 3 mile walk.
Another observation from the last few months. Bring on "assisted
suicide", "death with dignity", "voluntary euthanasia",
what ever you call it.
It will be interesting to see how this issue plays out over the
next couple of decades. Since Carlton and I are not members of the
"boomer" class, change might not come quickly enough for
us. I think the people are ahead of our distinguished law makers
on this issue.
