kailua pier - 20.feb.03
They are going to start repairing our pier "soon". Driving
piles, doing all sorts of noisey and disruptive stuff. Basically,
it is to "improve" things so more cruise ships can come.
As far as I am concerned the pier is just fine as it is.
 We
went up north today so Carlton could do a little surfing. But, it
was raining and cold. So, we came back and I started to work on
the next fish inventory.
By late afternoon the sun was out so I wandered over to the pier.
Got a picture of the Leopard Blennie and found a nice snorkel mask
way down on the bottom. My camera is only supposed to go down 10
feet. I didn't think the mask was more than 8 or 9 feet down. So
after 4 or 5 dives, I snagged the mask and the camera seems to be
OK.
