kids @ pier on sunday afternoon
Another day devoted to sun and fun. I snorkeled and swam. Carlton
snorkeled and tennised. This was a warm "summer like"
day - so everyone who could get out was at the beach or pier or
otherwise on the water.
Still ignoring the dogs of war. The governor of Hawai`i was on
TV telling the world how safe Hawai`i is. And it is safe from terrorists
(I think). But, we have your tidal waves, molten lava, dangerous
vog (volcano fog), hurricanes (rare but really strong) and the occasional
water spout that comes ashore. And, if you want to go anywhere -
you have to get on an airplane. Anyone who moves to Hawai`i for
"safety" is going to be disappointed.
