Cold and rainy again today.
Carlton snapped a ligament or something in his foot whilst playing
tennis. At this instant he can not really walk. No, of course, he
didn't go to see a doctor. We figure he'll be out of tennis action
for 6 to 8 weeks. Sigh.
I got a notice from the VA income tax people. They have a problem
with my return. Seems they want $21.59 because I didn't pay enough
estimated taxes - never mind that they already paid me a nice refund.
So, I spent an hour filling out forms and composing a letter to
try to get off the hook for $21.59. If, after all that, they still
want $21.59 - they can have it. My time is worth $21.59 an hour.
