not much happening at the farm market - 24.may.2003

Last week the very much republican Governor of Maryland vetoed a bill to make walking the "State Sport" - "Walking isn't indigenous to Maryland". Well, that *is* hard to argue with. The next day he signed a bill legalizing marijuana for medical use. He is the same guy who wanted to legalize slot machines. This should prove interesting over the next couple of years. Not as interesting as the Texas legislature of course.

Last Sunday Carlton was on TV. Who know? We didn't. He was on House and Garden TV - that is a cable channel. Those of you who know our house must be rolling on the floor laughing. But, he was doing a tour of Hulihe`e Palace in Hawai`i. Some of his up market lady friends did see the show. His stock apparently went up in their eyes. (They haven't seen our house.)
