I just realized that today is Friday the 13th. Carlton told me it was earlier today after a mulberry eating bird pooped on him. Actually the bird got him twice. First it hit him when he was driving with the top down. Then, he put the top up 'cause it was going to rain. And there must have been some bird poop in the top, because he got some more bird droppings on him - after the top was up.
