Been wondering about the "National Do Not Call" List for telemarketers. Well, politicians can still call, charities can still call, pollsters can still call and phone companies can still call. How long will it before the pesky guy who calls to say you have "Won a free vacation" changes his pitch to "We are taking a survey"? I am not rushing out to sign up. Seems to me that a sleazy marketeer gets the list - and bingo! I get called by every charity and pollster on the planet. Also, I remember hearing that the list maintenance was going to be done offshore. That is in the urban legend category. Don't know if it is true. But, you do have to give them an email address if you signup online. Now think about that. Hello Spam?

So, I did not call the do not call registry. Yet.
