the last motel - binghamton ny - 13.aug.03

We got home last night - just as the east coast was going off-line.

Motel Wars are over for awhile. The last motel - it started out life as a HoJo's and ended up just a 'ho. This one was the worst.

Good news is we got out of Binghamton 8 hours before the great east coast power failure. I looked at the Binghamton TV web site they had no power, no water and a 9PM curfew. I would have changed from a unhappy camper into a homicidal camper if I were stuck in the Binghamton Bates Motel with no water or electricity. (And we would have been stuck, 'cause we had about one gallon left in the tank.)
