a rose - macro experiment - 18.aug.03

Went out to play with the camera again today. Trying to figure out how to get reliable macro shots. It was easy with the old camera. You just set the macro switch and used the camera wrist cord as a measure of where to put the camera. This one doesn't work that way. You have to give it some hint of what to focus on and hope the camera can make it all work. Most of my early experiments were total failures.

Jury Duty Tomorrow. Guilty! Hang the Bastards! I was thinking about getting a big book with a title like "Tort Reform For Dummies" and carrying it with the title well displayed. But, I think it will be much smarter to just be a nice well mannered little old lady. Someone that neither side would trust.
