Didn't do much today. After 5 pm, I'll find out if I have jury duty again tomorrow. GUILTY!

Thinking about funding a modest scholarship endowment. Maybe for my old college. Texas Western College AKA Texas College of Mines AKA UTEP. You can still be a full time student there for about 3 grand per year. Nobody goes there who could go any where else. But, El Paso, being El Paso, is the sort of place where folks are hard pressed to come up with 3 thousand dollars a year.

I used to think that endowed scholarships were something that rich folks did. Well, they do. But, they set up scholarships at places that cost 50 grand per year. Heck with 50 grand I can get a couple of kids a year thru UTEP. For a long time.

I wouldn't have been able to go to college without Texas Western. And if I hadn't gone to college I might have been stuck in El Paso. So, it is time to pay back. Not time to go back. Just to pay back. Help someone else escape!
