mara - national zoo - 24.aug.03

These cute little critters are mara. Some sort of monster rodent from South America. They mate for life - unlike most rodents and humans.

Today's "get rid of stuff" adventure - OLD HARD DRIVES. Those suckers are darn hard to destroy. After smashing them on the garage floor, bashing them with a hammer and going after them with a chisel - finally drilled a few well placed holes in them. Now - someone is going to really have to want my email from 1988.
