As Warren Zevon said - "enjoy every sandwich".

Went downtown for my sonograms and X-rays this morning. The sonogram dude didn't seem to have found any problems. I was sure they would take one look at the TV monitor and send me to the nearest emergency room.

So far so good.

911. It is a fine sunny fall day. Like 911. The big buildings on the Virginia side of the Potomac River. The ones you fly entirely too close to when landing at National Airport. They all had huge American Flags hanging from their roofs. All the metro buses had new flags. Most of the neighbors have their flags out.

Unlike last year. Didn't see any rocket launchers. And haven't noticed any unusual helicopter activity.

We haven't forgotten 911 yet.
