mrs mantis atop the window - 23.sep.03

Don't know if this is our old mantis - or if this is a new one. She appeared on our window screen early this morning. Gotta be careful not to squash her.

75 percent of us in Northern Virginia have power. I feel sure that doesn't make the 25 percent feel any better. Up until a couple of months ago I had stock in Dominion Resources (VA's power company) and PEPCO (DC and MD's power company) - but for some reason I sold it. Profit taking as I recall.

Planning on going to New Hampshire for the leaves next week. Have no intention of just hanging 'round waiting for the medical profession.
