Spent most of the day trying to find someone to do the CT-Scan the the GYN wants. Seems that my insurance, which up until Jan 1 would let me go almost anywhere for xrays, will now only let me go to some middleman operation who apparently contracts out the hands-on part of the process to a local none to great looking provider and then they send the results to Calcutta or worse to be read. You call an 800-number and hope for the best. The best that I got was I could have a HealthSouth place do the test. And then the results would go to Calcutta. Excuse me, but aren't the HealthSouth folks in JAIL. I don't want my life in their hands.

When all else fails there is always the health plan of last resort - the VISA CARD.

Great news. The little Mars robo-thing is rolling around. And the weather guys were wrong wrong wrong about it snowing here today.
